Source Policy

The site is explanatory, not official. The safest way to publish changing travel information is to make the source hierarchy visible.

Priority 1: government and official tourism

Immigration, customs, tax-free shopping, safety and broad visitor information prioritize official Japanese government and JNTO pages.

Priority 2: the operator that runs the service

Rail tickets, airport transfers, luggage, hotel rules and product conditions should be checked against the company or facility responsible whenever possible.

Priority 3: reliable secondary explanation

Secondary sources can add context but should not override a current official rule.

Changing facts

Prices and rules can be summarized, but readers are told when values can change and are given a direct path to official verification.

What the site avoids

Invented statistics, fake first-hand testing, copied guidebook prose, unsourced “Japanese people always…” claims and old pricing presented as current.

There may be something oddly bird-shaped near the bottom of this page.
